Ireland's Health Service Executive benefits with SMS
HSE’s recruitment department uses Púca’s Text Manager system for job alerts, appointment alerts and tracking of application process.
Ireland’s Health Service Executive’s (HSE), National Recruitment Department is now using Púca Text Manager to send messages to prospective employees saving them a huge amount of personnel time and cost through use of text as a communication channel. No more bulk calling or postage of appointment letters to applicants - they use Púca Text Manager instead to alert job panel members of their inclusion in a competition for certain available positions, to receive confirmation of receipt of information and to track the application process.
The HSE also use the system to notify individuals of upcoming appointment times, with each individual receiving a personalised message with their appointment time. The system can also be used for any additional communication messages that the HSE wish to send, and the delivery of all these messages can be tracked through the system.
Eithne Fox of the HSE commented;
"Using text messages to communicate with our applicants is saving our personnel a significant amount of time each day which frees up much needed resources. This delivers a substantial saving in terms of both time and cost and also contributes to a reduction in the “time to hire” of employees to the Irish Public Health Services”.
