To promote Bacardi B-live music events, Edward Dillon, who distribute the brand in Ireland, are running to a mobile based competition to win tickets to both Oxegen and The Electric Picnic.
For ease of entry, the campaign uses an SMS txt2win competition mechanic, and is promoted throughout selected bars and clubs. To drive sales, consumers had to purchase a Bacardi drink and then received a scratch card. The scratch card went on to ask people to text BACARDI followed by the answer to the question to 51500 (standard rate SMS) to be in with a chance to win.
Púca developed the instant win mechanic, allowing consumers to find out instantly whether or not they have won a pair of tickets to either of the gigs. Edward Dillon have access to all entries and stats via a web-based login which captures all data in real-time.
