Púca powers SuperValu's Text Saver Club

Two SuperValu stores in Cork (Caulfield’s) have just launched the Saver Alerts SMS Club. Greenhouse, the Cork-based marketing agency behind the campaign for SuperValu wanted to find a way of not just increasing in-store traffic & sales, but also building up a customer database and reward loyal customers with SMS offers. Club members will be the first to know about special deals and offers before they have even hit the shelf!

Text Response will be used to capture customer data and allow the customers to opt-in to the Saver Alerts Club. Depending on the store, consumers can either text SAVER or SAVING to 51500 (std. rate SMS) to subscribe. This will allow Greenhouse to track traffic by store and to target the alerts accordingly.

As an added incentive to opt-in, customers will even be in with a chance to win Aer Lingus flights! Customers can opt-out from the alerts at any time as the opt-out information will be included in all the messages.

Greenhouse will then use Púca’s outbound messaging system, Text Manager, to send out the targeted alerts to opted in customers. Text Manager is a very easy-to-use web-based SMS management reporting service, enabling Greenhouse to manage customer databases, send low-cost SMS messages, and track all in & outbound message statistics.
