Voting has been launched for the Meteor Ireland Music Awards 2009 which will be held in the RDS Dublin on St Patrick’s Day Tuesday 17th March 2009. The star-studded music spectacular will be presented for the first time by glamorous TV presenter Amanda Byram.

Púca’s mobile ticketing solution was used to great effect at the Sol Sunshine Revolution Party at the Odeon Bar which featured the acts Super Extra Bonus Party, The Chapters, Kormac Live and Tucan.

Having registered for tickets online in advance of the event, winners were then issued mobile tickets via SMS. Each SMS contained a unique ticket code and a WAP link to a 2D barcode which was scanned and validated upon entry to the event.
